Biden is the laughing stock of the entire civilized world.

Not as much as Trump though. Reality is that Trump is probably the worst possible president in American history for foreign allied countries because of him being unpredictable and not even knowing how international relations work. He ignores agreements signed and basically treats agreements as paper. US has an obligation to Ukraine for example which it is actively not fulfilling.

Especially after GOP managed to alleviate all of American European and Asian allies by not supporting Ukraine for political reasons. Meaning if something happens then what is the guarantee that you won't throw Taiwan or Japan or Korea under the buss against China if it is in GOPs political interest to win the election.

Nobody knows this.

What we know is that Trump is willing to sacrifice Ukraine just to make Biden look bad. That or he's a Russian asset. Take your pick.

And you did not notice this about American power on the Right before? Come on John.

The US GOP only cares about their own power. Not anything beyond that.

Biden makes himself look bad. Trump has nothing to do with it.

They are not the best of the best. Either of them. Both are a pair of viejos chochos. ;)

And Europe is at around 150 billion right now + plus all the local/national spending for refugees that is also not less than a hundred Billion. By the looks of it, you are not a super power anymore and the main reason seems to be Trump so your allies in Asia and Europe need to rethink their positions long term.

Same can be said for Europe and we still giving to Ukraine non-the-less. Never understood though the position of Republicans and Trump on the topic right now, Biden will be able to easily use this as easy ammo to win the next election though, partially because of this since it is a reminder.

It is like you want to loose the election or something.

Oh please. The US spends $842bn every year on defense. What do you think that's for? Protecting American soil and nothing else? I have news for you.

Funny how the GOP turned into isolationist fools just because Trump says "Ukraine aid baaaaad", as if he gives a shit about the money. All he wants is for Biden to lose a war.

More like Trump doesn't want battlefield victories for Ukraine right now because its election year + it is a good reason to also not pass the border bill at least right now. I can see the logic.

The problem is that it can backfire severely if Ukraine has problems which it doesn't now but if it will, like in the summer then it will be a huge problem for Trump and Republicans since it will be a reminder of things like 6th of January or his Covid policy etc etc

Well yes, maybe not lose the war, since Ukraine won't lose the war until November even without US aid. But it might lose significant amount of territory and manpower in that time period.

We could send our boy scouts and conquer Estonia in a week.

Biden has been pres for over 3 years. Blaming Trump still is just proving that TDS is a mental disorder.

Just an interesting statistic I just read. Reliable source. The average US citizen lives two fewer years because of firearms. If we did not have widespread ownership of them we would not be 47th in life expectancy, we would be 35th. And that is pretty telling, isn't it? We fall behind such garden spots as Kuwait and Israel. Thailand has us. Chile kicks our ass.

So 35th 47th in life expectancy is appalling as it is. Asking all of us to give up two years of our lives so a few 2nd amendment morons can have their firearm stoked rape fantasies is asking a bit much.

Interesting info @Drlee .

It begs the question, are we really better off with more guns in circulation? I think not. I think there has been an uptick in shootings for years. After Columbine, the government could have cracked down on guns, but decades later and dozens of mass shootings later, the US is still not safer against angry, violent gun owners or any gun holders. It's a massive tragedy. Children are less safe. Parents will keep on hurting. People will keep dying from bullet wounds. The senseless violence continues to infinity and beyond.

They have two issues that Trump can work against Biden that will piss off people and might sway them to vote for the GOP. The border and the immigration crisis in big cities like NYC, etc.

And sending money to a war that the conservatives do not want to send money to. The Christian Right wing MAGA people want to dump Ukraine spending and Trump is kind of a Putin fan, and they want to spend the war money on Israel fighting Gaza. Anti Muslim terrorism fights. Not on Ukraine. Putin is Trump's buddy.

Another thing that might sway the dummies voting for Trump are white women who can't get legal abortions in their home states and have to go and get a state that the Democrats kept Planned Parenthood open.

White women saddled with children they do not want is a big motivator to vote against the GOP and for Biden. Even though he is a better Roman Catholic and practicing religious person than Trump.

Something going for Biden are the people who can't stand Trump and will hold their noses and vote.

Biden at least gives good tax returns. Lol. He would have really done a great thing by making sure low income parents got child tax credit incentives and free universal child care and free universal health care. But they are beholden to those Big Pharma people. They need to dump the corporate endorsements and deal with a lot more decent legislation.

Let us see how it shakes out.
