Who is?

The protest at the U of A did not do that.

Pants-of-dog wrote:I have no idea what @wat0n is trying to argue now.

Perhaps I do not follow twitter enough to know how a random three second film says anything.

Anyway, this person whom @wat0n has villainized does not seem to have their real name in any media outlet, unlike the CNN article which mentions their actual names.

If the cops are also not following whatever paradigm @wat0n is using, they might also want to rely on real names like CNN does.

Claiming you're too lazy and/or stupid to follow and understand a Twitter thread won't save you.

You don't see her name mentioned because this type of footage undermines the narrative some media outlets are trying to push. It also undermines your own narrative about how the cops are particularly harsh against leftists.

She's quite openly telling you where to find her.

It's clear she's the one caught on video assaulting a pro-Israel protesters.

There has been no police action at all despite this, but I'm certain you'll still insist on claiming victimhood as a way to justify your now evident desire to stand for those who harass Jewish and Israeli students on campus aiming to segregate them out.

Speaking personally, I'm done with this thread, I think it's obvious that the anti-zionist protesters are not violent, and that the entire claim that they are is without merit, the thread seems to be the only issue that @wat0n wants to discuss too. This is a dead issue now, there are far bigger things to discuss like Mossad threatening members of the ICC, burning women and children alive because of a "mistake" with bombs, stealing Palestinian oil reserves, demolishing non-Jew houses and so on and so forth, so I'm done with this, the only purpose now being served by this thread is as a distraction that some can use to divert the discussion away from the crimes of the Zionist regime.

@Sherlock Holmes you're done because you have no arguments, which is a different thing. There's even a racist pro-Palestine protester, on tape, tasering someone. And there's another pro-Palestine protester who badgered and killed someone, and who's going to trial for it.

You don't see those as violent because you have no issues with tasering and even murdering Jews. As is typical from the left.

You do not understand my point.

---------

Out of all the protests, even the most ardent Zionist is only able to find two examples of anti-genocide protesters being violent

In the one case, it was a scuffle that turned tragically lethal. There was no evidence of antisemitism being a motive

In the second, we see what looks like the last few seconds of an ongoing confrontation. There is no evidence of antisemitism being a motive.

And we have thousands of peaceful protesters and thousands of protesters arrested.

Meanwhile, the Zionist protesters have been caught in film engaged in a coordinated assault on a campus protest with cops standing by and letting it happen and only arresting one person despite many being identified.

I fully understand it, I am just showing it's wrong.

It's interesting how you just shrug off that one of those incidents "just" ended up with a someone being killed.

OTOH, you make a fuss about a single incident of a violent pro-Israel protest where protesters have been exposed on TV and one of them already arrested even though the second incident of violence you shrugged off took place at the same campus, the perpetrator is known and arrogantly exposing herself committing a crime and she was never arrested at all - suggesting, if anything, the pro-Israel violence was a direct response to the pro-Palestine violence that went unanswered at UCLA as decided by the school itself.

I will also note pro-Israel protesters have not taken over public spaces inside universities and limited access to everyone else for weeks without university permission, so it's not strange they have not been cleared by police for trespassing.

Oh, I see what your justification is.

So these few seconds of video justify the attack by Zionist protesters, refute any claim of police deference to right wing protesters, and explain why the cops should do nothing about the attack at UCLA by Zionists and also anyone who disagrees is morally repugnant

Tell me, what is the piece of paper the two protesters are fighting over?

Yes, the establishment does not need to protests itself.

Western society in general, supports the genocide in Gaza. And?

That cops disproportionately arrest pro-Palestine protesters, based on the fact that mostly trespassers have been arrested. In reality, pro-Israel protesters haven't been arrested for trespassing because... Well, they have not trespassed.

Then you have protesters who have assaulted others. Here the cops don't often make any arrests regardless of who does it.

At last, only pro-Palestine protesters have ever killed another person so we can't compare in this regard.

I don't give a shit.

What matters though is that only one of them got aggressive and assaulted the other one. And no cops arrested the attacker.

Yes, this does refute the claim pro-Israel protesters are being treated deferentially - in reality, even at UCLA, pro-Palestine protesters can assault with impunity.

Right wingers are definitely not the establishment at universities, no matter whatever delusions you want to tell yourself.

Not quite.

Try again.

Tell me, what is the paper that the two protesters are fighting over?

It seems to be the cause of the conflict.

Uf the Zionist stole it from the protesters in a violent manner, we may be seeing the anti-gencoide protesters defending themselves and getting it back.

So what is it?

If you tell me you do not care, then I will accept that you do not actually want a discussion on the truth and are merely looking for justification for this double standard.
#15316769
@Pants-of-dog why is it that I'm not surprised to see you attempt to justify assault? Peccata minuta when you believe mass murder is a form of legitimate resistance.

You also have no proof of anything and it's just speculation, so it is disregarded. What is not speculation is that the cops did not arrest the attacker even though she used a Taser.
#15316795
No, this one incident is unimportant, as I explained earlier.

Focusing on this one thing and ignoring the thousands of arrests, the censorship, the influence of rich donors, and the police violence and/or inaction, is an example of framing the debate.

It is a way of ignoring all these anti-democratic measures and instead making an emotional appeal by focusing on one example of perceived victimhood.
